They outline initiatives to combat the spread of invasive species, such as Clean, Drain, Dry (Your Boat), and Don't Let it Loose. The Alberta Environment and Parks website also contains the latest news on Whirling Disease in Alberta.

Alberta Water Council - Aquatic Invasive Species Report
The Alberta Water Council (AWC) established the Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Project Team to identify gaps and opportunities to improve awareness, communication and coordination of activities by stakeholders in Alberta that are working to prevent and manage threats of AIS. The AIS Project Team's report, completed in 2016, provides seven broad recommendations on public awareness, long-term management, monitoring, inspections, and enforcement support.
